Recurrent Cutaneous Fusariosis in a Kidney Transplant Recipient – a Case Report and Review of the Literature

**Introduction:** We report an unusual case of cutaneous fusariosis in a kidney transplant recipient. *Fusarium* species are emerging fungal pathogens that pose diagnostic and therapeutic challenges. In severely immunocompromised patients, fusarial infections associated with high mortality the systemic dissemination. **Case presentation:** A 69-year-old black male history renal transplantation presented recurrent purulent nodules painful ulcers left lower leg. Based on repeated skin biopsies, focally invasive infection *Fusarium solani* was proven histologically microbiologically. After four months treatment oral voriconazole, lesions considerably improved. When patient died one month later from Covid-19 pneumonia under continued antifungal therapy, there no evidence or superinfection. **Conclusion:** Although rare, should be considered individuals such as solid organ recipients. Therefore, this population examined accurately. Histopathological microbiological workups, including cultures, necessary for diagnosis timely initiation targeted therapy. Systemic therapy voriconazole is choice fusariosis.
